During the discussion on beauty Michael Portillo made a comment about ugly and disabled people being allowed into Ascot. This seemed to infer that disabled people in general are not 'beautiful'. As a disabled wheelchair user I would suggest that Michael take a closer look the next time he comes across a disabled person - he may be surprised to find there are many beautiful disabled people, and that they have brains too! Was anyone else offended by this comment? Lorraine Thompson, Wakefield
